About John Berry
John M. Berry grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. He attended Bishop David High School and played basketball in college at Martin Methodist and the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. Mr. Berry graduated from the University of Cincinnati Law School and began his legal career at the Jefferson County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted serious criminal cases for several years; In fact, John Berry had a perfect 23-0 record as the prosecuting attorney, where he never lost a single jury trial. Mr. Berry went into private practice and has had great success defending people in criminal cases. Mr. Berry’s wife, Dolly Wisman Berry, has been a Jefferson County Family Court Judge since 2004.
